Haloing fantasia |
||
|
This piece was composed in 2012 for the Parhelion trio (Sarah Carrier, alto flute, Crystal Gloria Medina, clarinet, and Andrea Christie, piano). In this piece, chromaticism can suggest the pallid and polychromatic light of a halo (or of a parhelion). The Parhelion trio performed this piece twice in New York city, with a premiere on June 29, 2012, and an encore on January 27, 2013. This is the video of the Haloing fantasia, performed by the Parhelion trio during the January 27, 2013, concert in NYC. (If the video does not show in your internet browser, try this link.)
