Rêverie, for English horn, in F major

ISWC T-314.854.570.0 Oboe family
(from Wikimedia)

This short piece was specially composed for Anne H. Goldberg who premiered it during a concert in New York city, in March 2013. This piece is meant to help the audience muse, dream, or simply relax for a short while. It somehow sounds like an impromptu.

As an alternative to English horn (the rightmost instrument, in the picture, tuned in F), oboists can play the piece on an oboe (the leftmost instrument, tuned in C) or else on an oboe d'amore (in-between, tuned in A).

The score of the "Rêverie" is published by Musicalion. It fits any instrument of the oboe family.
