Siciliana, for organ |
||
|
This short piece was specially composed for organist David Bohn who premiered it during a concert in Appleton, WI, USA, in July 2013. He played it again in La Crosse, WI, USA, in November 2013, as well as in Port Washington, WI, USA in August 2021. Typically, a siciliana is a slow dance from Sicily (in Italy), with 6/8 tempo and a minor key. This short siciliana softly invites the audience to meditation, thoughfulness and, possibly, praying. This is Siciliana recorded by David Bohn in Port Washington, in August 2021. (If the video does not show in your internet browser, try this link.)
