Pasacallejuela, for organ, in D minor

This short piece was specially composed for organist David Bohn who premiered it during a concert in Appleton, WI, USA, in August 2016. David Bohn performed it in Port Washington, WI, USA, in August 2021, too.

The piece sounds like a pasacalle (or passacaglia), the ancient street dance from Spain. Because callejuela designates an alley (a narrow calle), Pasacallejuela is a forged name for this miniature pasacalle.
