Sonatina, for solo violin, in G major

ISWC T-314.854.729.5 bowed instruments of the violin family
(from Wikimedia)

Jean-Pierre Vial initially composed this short sonata for solo violin. The sonatina consists of three movements, allegro, larghetto and allegro vivace.

Because violin, viola and cello tunings correspond, Jean-Pierre Vial transposes most of his compositions, scored for a solo instrument of the violin family, to all three instruments.
